Eric Bernard
L’année 2026 marque le 41ᵉ anniversaire de la carrière artistique d’Eric Bernard.

Initié à la guitare dès l’âge de 10 ans, il reçoit une solide formation en guitare classique avant de se lancer, à 20 ans, dans ses premières tournées sur la scène rock québéco-canadienne, où il se distingue rapidement par sa virtuosité et sa grande polyvalence. Il poursuit ensuite ses études à l’Université de Montréal, où il obtient un baccalauréat en interprétation jazz.

C’est à cette période que la composition et l’arrangement prennent une place centrale dans son parcours. Entre 1996 et 1999, il est co-compositeur et arrangeur de la musique du spectacle Exentricus du réputé Cirque Éloize, avec lequel il tourne également à l’international.

Sur scène comme sur disque, la musique d’Eric Bernard a voyagé à travers l’Amérique, l’Asie et l’Europe.
Parallèlement à sa carrière de musicien, il s’illustre comme réalisateur artistique. Depuis plus de quinze ans, il a réalisé ou coréalisé plus d’une trentaine d’albums pour divers artistes, couvrant une grande variété de styles.

Compositeur, arrangeur et instrumentiste polyvalent, Eric Bernard est animé par une recherche sonore constante. Sa musique se distingue par une grande sensibilité mélodique, un sens aigu de la nuance et un usage réfléchi de la technologie au service de l’émotion.

Curieux, ouvert et profondément attaché à l’authenticité, il poursuit un chemin artistique en perpétuelle évolution, touchant ses publics par une musique à la fois exigeante, accessible et profondément humaine.

Eric Bernard
2026 marks the 41st anniversary of Eric Bernard's artistic career.

Introduced to the guitar at the age of 10, he received a solid classical guitar education before embarking, at 20, on his first tours of the French rock scene, where he quickly distinguished himself through his virtuosity and versatility. He then pursued his studies at the University of Montreal, where he earned a bachelor's degree in jazz performance.

It was during this period that composition and arrangement became central to his career. Between 1996 and 1999, he co-composed and arranged the music for the show Exentricus by the renowned Cirque Éloize, with which he also toured internationally.

On stage and on record, Eric Bernard's music has traveled throughout America, Asia, and Europe.
Alongside his career as a musician, he has distinguished himself as an artistic director. For over ten years, he has produced or co-produced more than thirty albums for various artists, covering a wide range of styles.

A composer, arranger, and versatile instrumentalist, Eric Bernard is driven by a constant exploration of sound. His music is characterized by a deep melodic sensitivity, a keen sense of nuance, and a thoughtful use of technology to serve emotion.
